The Lagos State Police Command busted several criminal suspects recently. Among them was 36-year-old Amos Daniel, who was caught after stealing his employer’s vehicle on his first day as a driver. Daniel admitted to taking the car to his church to share a testimony of divine provision.
In another case, ex-soldiers Akeem Suleiman and Abdulau Mohammed, along with two civilians, were arrested for their involvement in a robbery gang that operated while wearing military attire. The police found military headgear, uniforms, and identity cards in the possession of the dismissed soldiers.
Also, a 25-year-old suspect named Thankgod Kesh-David was apprehended for posing as a roadside mechanic and then stealing the vehicles he was supposed to repair.
During a press briefing at the command headquarters in Ikeja, SP Benjamin Hudenyin stated, “We have successfully captured a robbery gang that specialized in carjackings in Lagos. The gang, consisting of four members, including two ex-soldiers dismissed in 2014 and 2017, used full military gear during their criminal activities.”
