Gov. Eno has successfully presented his PhD Seminar at the University of Uyo, proving wrong to those who spread false information and engaged in blackmail against his academic background and achievements during the (2023) governorship campaigns in Akwa Ibom state. 

 
Governor Umo Eno's recent PhD Seminar presentation at the University of Uyo has been hailed as a resounding success, dispelling the false narratives and blackmail that had previously cast doubt on his academic background and achievements. The seminar provided a platform for Gov. Eno to showcase his dedication, expertise, and in-depth knowledge in his chosen research field, showcasing his unwavering commitment to academic excellence.


The presentation was attended by the academic community, who were impressed by Gov. Eno's comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and his ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity and precision. The seminar was a testament to Gov. Governor Eno noted that he had finished his course work some years ago but could not proceed with the other requirements for the award of a PhD due to his political engagements; that having finished his seminar presentation, he was ready to complete entire process.


In his seminar presentation titled, "Natural Resources Governance and Socio-economic development of Oil Producing Communities in Akwa Ibom State, he recommended, among others, that there should be a constitutional framework the political will and sincerity of purpose to enable oil producing communities, traditional rulers, youth associations, community development associations, and individuals to be beneficiaries of derivation funds to the oil producing States.
